Computer Census?
Computer Census is a portable software utility tool that enables technicians to inventory a single computer, selected computers, or an entire Domain - automatically. Unlike some inventory programs, there are no agents, nothing is installed or running on remote target computers and web access is not required. Computer Census exe just needs to be run and is so small it fits on a single floppy, CD or flash drive and runs on any computer that has the required OS components.
The data provided is rich with over 200 technical data points pertaining to the Manufacturer, BIOS, OS, CPU, RAM, Motherboard, Chassis, Drives, Mouse, Keyboard, Port Connections, COM and LPT Ports, USB, SCSI, Modem, Audio, Monitor, Video, Printers, Network Settings, System and Network Services, Protocols, Network Adapters, Shared Resources, Drivers, Software Packages and Applications. The data is reported in text file format and in an Access database so that it can be easily manipulated by various productivity tools for additional analysis.
